Cintia Stammers met the Hare Krishna devotees in 1974. Since meat, fish and eggs are not in the devotees diet, Cintia discovered she could no longer eat cakes because practically all cakes were made with eggs. Over the years she experimented with a wide variety of recipes until she was able to achieve soft, moist and tasty cakes without using eggs.
